About Stephanie Burger, MD
Dr. Stephanie Burger was born and raised in Sioux Center, IA. She attended college at Northwestern College in Orange City, IA, where she laid the groundwork for her future in medicine. Driven by her passion for helping others, she pursued her medical education at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Burger completed a five-year surgical residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. This extensive training provided her with expertise in a wide range of procedures and conditions related to the ears, nose, and throat.

Specialized Services
At Pierce Street Same Day Surgery, Dr. Burger offers a comprehensive array of ENT services. Her expertise includes pediatric care (such as tubes and tonsil surgeries), nasal reconstruction, sinus surgery, ear surgery for chronic conditions and hearing loss, as well as head and neck cancer surgeries, including those involving the thyroid, parathyroid, parotid glands, skin cancer, oral cavity, and throat cancer. She is also adept at addressing voicing concerns.

Personal Life
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Burger and her husband, Nathan, enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including water sports like wake surfing, wakeboarding, and water skiing, as well as scuba diving and camping. They cherish opportunities to spend time with their beloved dog, Nash.
