About Melissa N. Holtz, MD

Dr. Melissa N. Holtz is a dedicated OB/GYN at Pierce Street Same Day Surgery, providing expert, compassionate care to women of all ages. She joined Siouxland Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C. in 2011 and has been serving the Siouxland community ever since. Dr. Holtz is known for her dedication to patient education, minimally invasive procedures, and individualized care that prioritizes each patient’s comfort and well-being.

Education & Medical Training

A native of Manchester, IA, Dr. Holtz began her academic journey at Loras College in Dubuque, where she completed her undergraduate studies. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Following medical school, she completed a rigorous residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. This experience laid the foundation for her comprehensive and skilled approach to OB/GYN care.

Personal Life

Beyond her medical practice, Dr. Holtz enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Scott, and their three children.
